What is Chronic Disease and Injury Prevention?

The Chronic Disease and Injury Prevention Division works to promote health and quality of life throughout Rock County.

What do we do?

We work with the community to prevent and manage chronic disease and injury. Our services and programs aim to reduce risk factors that lead to heart disease, diabetes, stroke, falls, poor mental health, and substance misuse by addressing environments, systems, and health behaviors. 

Why does it matter to Rock County?

By addressing environments, systems, and health behaviors to reduce risk factors, we can create opportunities for healthier lives in Rock County.
