The Rock County Sheriff's Office strongly encourages all snowmobilers to take a Snowmobile Safety Education Course.
Anyone born on or after January 1, 1985, is required to take a Snowmobile Safety Education Course in order to legally operate a snowmobile in areas open to the public within Wisconsin. It is recommended that participants are at least 12 years of age or turn 12 shortly following completion of the class.
- There is a class fee of $10.00 per student, which is due at the first session.
- The student, and a parent/guardian if the student is not 18 years old, must attend the first session. A parent/guardian will need to sign the registration form in order for the underage student to complete the course.
Class size is limited to thirty (30) students. Reserve a seat by completing the form below. If there is no link below, there are no open courses. Upon submitting the reservation form, you will see a confirmation screen with course information.
