Shelter Care Facility

Derrick's House is a 10-bed, shelter care facility that serves children/youth ages 10-17, involved in the Child Protective Services (CPS) or Youth Justice System. The mission is to provide child/youth a home in which they have the safety, security, and nurturing environment that all children need and deserve. Located in Beloit's historic district, Derrick's House removes any feeling or stigma of being institutionalized and offers youth an opportunity to engage in activities that foster and promote their developmental growth.
